People continue to be interviewed and hired, even during the holidays. “Many job seekers make the mistake of putting their job search on hold during the holidays on the assumption that no one’s hiring late in the year,” said a career consultant in California. However, those who stay in the game will have less competition and potentially better odds of landing a permanent paycheck. Explore the reasons why your job search can actually be easier during the holidays, and obtain tips for making the most of the holiday season while you’re in career transition.
What We Will Cover:
- Why job search can be easier during the fall and winter months
- How to take advantage of the holiday season during job search
- Strategies for working within your network to find temporary and/or full-time employment
- Develop or re-establish relationships with recruiters

Who Should Attend:
Unemployed and underemployed individuals looking to work in a professional environment and seeking relevant and practical information or advice regarding the next steps in their job search or career path. This includes individuals in mid-career transition, women re-entering the workforce after a hiatus, military veterans transitioning to the civilian workforce, recent college graduates launching their careers, and mature workers not ready or able to retire.
