Monday Morning LINKS

26th March, 2018 - 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM

Staying Motivated During Career Transition!

No matter how long you have been in career transition, it can be difficult to stay motivated and engaged during the process. Staying energized, particularly when you do it in a solitary way, can be challenging. And often you don’t get feedback when you apply for an online job, or you may not hear back from a hiring manger when they said they would call. DO NOT GIVE UP! Instead, take time for activities that boost your spirit and confidence. It could mean that you take some time off from your job search or simply refocus your efforts in a different way. Learn about things you can do to help yourself make progress, even when you don’t feel like it.

WHAT IS LINKS:  LINKS is an acronym for Leads, Information, Networking, Know-how, and Strategies. It is an educational and motivational program designed to help candidates prepare for the week ahead and to share conversation, contacts, and job-search information in a relaxed, friendly environment. For the unemployed professional, LINKS is a “place to go” to focus on the job search when others go to work on Monday Mornings. LINKS sessions are free and open to the public. Reservations are required.
