How to Ace a Telephone or Skype Interview
Phone and Skype interviews continue to be the most-used screening process. Why? Because they are a less expensive, simple, and an efficient way for a recruiter or hiring company to screen you out. And, they are just as important as a job interview, because they can determine whether or not you get to the next step in the interview process. If you’re looking for a job, you should (1) anticipate a phone or Skype interview and (2) be prepared for a phone or Skype interview. Since one of the biggest errors that candidates make is coming across as unprepared and/or uninterested, this is an opportunity to discover ways to make a great first impression – and be memorable!
