Job Seekers

Our professional coaching staff will work alongside you during your career transition.  Our programs are designed for the individual and include both one-on-one coaching and group sessions. One-On-One Coaching

We provide individualized job-search guidance and career coaching. Our trained career strategists serve as sounding boards and coaches for candidates and are experts in topics such as résumé writing, interview preparation, and the development of social media and networking skills. Candidates are paired with a career strategist who will work with them in one-on-one sessions through the duration of their job search. Candidates work with their strategist to develop and refine their personal career and employment goals, marketing materials, lists of ideal employers, and plan of action.  Coaching sessions are usually held at the TBJL office, however, once a report is established candidates may meet with their coaches in a mutually convenient public location or via Skype.


Group Sessions

Monday Morning LINKS

Leads, Information, Networking, Know-How and Strategies

A motivational program designed to help candidates prepare for the week ahead and to share conversation, contacts, and job-search information in a relaxed, friendly environment. LINKS sessions are free and available to the public. Registration is required.

SUCCESS Workshop Series

Interactive training sessions focused on developing job-search skills, tools, and strategies to accelerate a candidate’s career transition. Workshops are offered three or four times a month. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Interview Preparation (with live video recording and feedback)
  • Written Communication – Words That Get You Hired
  • Networking – The Best Way to Find Employment
  • Customize Your Résumé
  • Mastering Change and Transition
  • Social Media as a Job Search Tool

SUCCESS Workshops are $15 for guests and free for program participants. See Calendar of Events for a schedule of upcoming workshops. Registration is required.
