Our candidates are paired with professional career strategists who work with them one-on-one through every step of the job-search or re-careering process. We take a holistic approach to our candidates by helping them address barriers to employment. Barriers may include lack of housing, transportation, interview attire, food, financial literacy, healthcare, or counseling. Our board of directors and our network of community volunteers work on behalf of candidates to open doors to networking and employment opportunities.
When employers submit job descriptions to TBJL, we search our pool for qualified, interested candidates. Only if a qualified candidate is identified will a resume be presented. Employers are under no obligation to interview a candidate, nor is there a fee should the employer decide to hire a TBJL candidate.
